| Architecture and Design – Celebrating Difference |

You can not doubt that architects in history have mastered the ability to transform space and matter into incredible works of engineering and art. Architecture and design go hand in hand with each other. It is impossible to sift one from the other. By the very act of drawing up blueprints or dimensions, the architect is creating designs that will hopefully stand the test of time to remain fixed in history.
The exterior façade of a building does not give a full picture of the architecture. Many people find the interior design architecture a major aspect in the beauty of a building. The outside of the building may attract initial attention, but the inside is what determines whether it is memorable or functional. From generation to generation, artists have created beautiful artworks made of stone, wood, and metal. The exterior is elaborately designed. Upon moving inside, it becomes clear that the interior doesn't lack for intricacy either.
Architecture and design must go hand in hand. From modern buildings to the classic columns of ancient Roman Temples, the designs are built around function and beauty. A home can be more than four walls and a roof. It can be a place that stands apart from nature and draws the eye to its beauty and form. By working together, design and architecture make four walls and a roof so much more.
The interior design features are more than just functional. Any builder can create a structure that serves a purpose. Space, shelter, and protection are what a building provides. But sometimes that doesn't cut it. Certainly, providing a roof is essential, but a building should also be pleasant to look at and uplifting to be in. There is more to a building than just a roof and four walls. A distinguished architectural style is a must. One should demand more from his surroundings if he is capable of appreciating great works. There is much more to beauty that what you see on the outside.
No one wants a home that blends in with all the others. That is why interior designers work so hard to provide different interiors for people. This is not a Stepford world where everything is exactly the same. Who wants that? Architecture and design should be different. No two personalities are the same, so why should all buildings be the same. Select an architect who keeps this in mind. |
